Long Form Series

Series presents long-form photographic studies built across full seasons of racing while also documenting individual events as they unfold.

Each body of work examines motorsport as a culture shaped by people, machines, and environments, where beauty and risk exist together in every pursuit of speed.

Motorsport as a Living System

The work moves between track and paddock, studying competition alongside the labor, rituals, and relationships that sustain it.
Rather than isolating races as moments, these series examine motorsport as a living system balancing precision with uncertainty, ambition with consequence.

Motorsport: A season at the edge of beauty and risk

Motorsport: A Season at the Edge of Beauty and Risk is a year-long documentary study of performance systems. Following a full 2026 season across multiple disciplines, the work explores how people, machines, and environments come together in pursuit of performance. Beneath every result are families, crews, engineers, drivers, and countless unseen people and decisions. The photographs examine the gap between how performance appears and what it actually requires. Beauty emerges through design, movement, craftsmanship, and landscape. Risk exists in uncertainty, mechanical limits, environmental conditions, and human ambition. Together, they shape the world of motorsport and the people who inhabit it.

Mechanical

The anatomy of speed. Engines, gears, and metal pushed to their absolute limit.

Environmental

Rain, dust, sunset, and asphalt — nature as both stage and adversary.

Human

Drivers, engineers, and dreamers. The heartbeat behind the helmet.

Social

Trackside communities, rituals, and the culture that fuels the paddock.

Economical

Sponsors, stakes, and the invisible economy of a weekend at the edge.

Psychological

Curves, lines, and structures — where engineering meets aesthetic.

Across Borders

The current season unfolds across the United States, France, Spain, and Mexico. Each place introduces a distinct atmosphere shaped by community, landscape, and racing tradition, while the shared rituals of speed remain constant.

Built across seasons rather than isolated events, the work returns to teams, tracks, and calendars over time. Repetition reveals structure, and structure reveals culture.
